In addition to our own transports, we supported the transport of humanitarian aid to “Caritas Spes” in Ukraine from two “Caritas Poland” locations, from Leżajsk and Lublin. By providing transport for products, we have shortened the waiting time for them at their destinations. Also, when our transport from Poland was not complete, it was possible to top up with additional pallets at “Caritas Poland” to complete the truck with a set of pallets.
In this way, we helped in the transport of: food boxes, groceries, hygiene products, blankets, clothing, stoves and medical equipment.
From July 2022 to February 2023, we made 10 transports for Caritas, which gives up to 330 pallets of transported aid.
Caritas boxes, intended for a family of 4, after delivery by us and other foundations to Lviv and after reloading, are transported to further parts of Ukraine. In this way, participating in further convoys, we delivered parcels to Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region, to Pavlohrad in the Dnipropetrovsk region or to Kharkov and Kherson. And in transports organized locally, they go to many places every day, where they provide basic humanitarian support for people in need.
In this way, we delivered 120 orthopedic canes to the Association of the Blind and Partially Sighted in Pokrovsk, and life-saving tourniquets to Kharkiv and Kiev, which were partially delivered to the front line on the same day.
